Montessori at Our School

Montessori at Our School

A learning environment like no other — Montessori in spirit, enriched by the British curriculum.

Spacious, Beautifully Prepared Classrooms

Every classroom is a prepared environment: calm, light-filled, and carefully designed for independence.

  • Montessori materials invite hands-on exploration.

  • Everything has its place — children know how to use and care for their space.

  • Mixed ages and strong teacher-pupil ratios ensure every child receives the right balance of freedom and guidance.

Here, children build concentration, confidence, and joy in discovery.

A Unique Campus in Nature

Our school is centered around a historic 400-year-old windmill, with spacious grounds and open views of the Tramuntana mountains.

  • Spacious patios and gardens for play and movement.

  • A thriving vegetable garden and biodiversity to explore daily.

  • Learning extends outdoors, helping children connect with nature and respect the environment.

It’s a setting that nurtures both learning and well-being.

How Montessori and the British Curriculum Work Together

At every stage, the Montessori spirit guides learning — adapted to children’s needs as they grow.

  • Casa (ages 3–5): 100% Montessori. A joyful start to independence, concentration, and early skills.

  • Primary (ages 5–11): Montessori blended with the British curriculum. Mixed-age groups, excellent teacher–pupil ratios, and project-based learning give children both freedom and structure — with no homework.

  • Secondary (ages 11–16): A rigorous British programme (IGCSE with ESO) within a Montessori culture. Adolescents benefit from small class sizes and close teacher mentoring

These values permeate our Casa, Primary, and Secondary programmes — ensuring children grow as confident, compassionate global citizens.

Montessori at our school is more than a method — it is a living spirit from Casa to Secondary.
