Growing as Global Citizens

Growing as Global Citizens

A multilingual, multicultural community where global awareness starts early.

At The Montessori School of Mallorca, global citizenship is not a subject — it’s a way of life. Our students grow up in an international community where curiosity, empathy, and communication flow across cultures and languages.

Global Citizenship in Action

  • Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN): from Upper Primary to Secondary, students debate real-world issues and present at international conferences in Rome or New York

  • Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives: exploring human rights, sustainability, and global challenges

  • Debate Club: sharpening skills in communication and respectful dialogue

  • Cultural excursions and international trips: extending learning to London, Madrid, Rome, New York, or China

When I joined MMUN, I realised my voice could make a difference. Even though I’m only 13, I felt like I was part of something bigger — like the whole world was listening.”
